What is an Open Space Plan?

An Open Space Plan guides the protection and management of natural lands within a community. It allows a municipality to maintain and enhance all the benefits of an open space that make up the character of the community. An Open Space Plan is an adopted plan which will help East Allen Township protect its natural resources, agricultural land, park land, environmentally sensitive land, as well as recreation and open space. It will guide the township in developing a strategy to accomplish these important goals!
