A reminder from the Tax Collector:

Real Estate & Fire Hydrant Tax Bills will be mailed March 1. If you have not received your bills, contact the Tax Collector Joy Hemming, 610-262-7961 ext. 303

Failure to receive notice shall not relieve ANY taxpayer from the payment of any taxes imposed by any taxing district and such taxpayer shall be charged with the tax as though he has received notice.

All unpaid Real Estate and Fire Hydrant Tax Bills MUST be paid by December 31 of the billing year. NO PAYMENTS WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER DECEMBER 31 of the billing year. All payments received after December 31 will be returned to sender.

All payments can be mailed or processed at the Municipal Building. Separate checks are required for Real Estate and Fire Hydrant. Please make checks payable to East Allen Township. As a convenience, there is a "drop box" on the pillar near the front entrance to the Municipal Building. The drop box can be used at any time to leave payments or correspondence.
